Job Opportunity - IT Specialist

Reporting to Finance manager and dotted line to Cluster IT manager, the position holder provides users of IT systems and local infrastructure with direct support.
Responsibilities
- Perform first line technical support to computer customers with questions regarding account administration, distribution of software and documentation, enterprise applications, system, and network status
- Provide support to users in helping them navigate/use software applications and troubleshoot/resolve problems.
- User administration : perform user account resets and modifications, add accounts to appropriate security groups, etc.
- Monitoring the support services provided by the external companies
- Maintain reliable local infrastructure and telecom
- Cooperate with other plant departments and Group IT shared service in terms of optimal infrastructure and telecom usage and development
- Prepare the hardware/software replacement/ enhancement plan & budget
- Monitor/control the software licenses
- Ensure standard software/hardware implementation
- Prepare the specifications for IT hardware/ software/ devices purchasing
- Ensure compliance of IT activities with LafargeHolcim Group policies
- Enforce of tasks/works necessary for compliance of local infrastructure with LafargeHolcim Group standards and security policy
- Perform periodical internal IS/IT control tasks
- Participate and/or manage the projects related to local infrastructure changes
- Monitor expenses within the confines of the relevant budget
- Develop safety awareness and apply the company’s Safety Rules within area of responsibility.
- Responsibility in the workplace for compliance with the rules of safety and health and fire regulations.
Qualifications
- Higher education, preferably in the relevant field
- Four years of experience working in network, server, database or desktop support.
- Strong Window Administration Background - Active Directory administration, Windows Client / Server configuration.
- Knowledge and experience in maintenance and configuration of a Cisco based LAN (network administration, configuration of network switches)
- Basic knowledge in virtualization technology (VMWare and/or Hyper-V)
- Able to work independently and in teams
- Priority setting and able to work multitasking
- English language - working proficiency
