Our Society:

b2 as a student group was founded in the spring semester in 2010/11 by mostly students in Architecture. It has developed into an interdisciplinary society with the main goal to contribute to local developments both in the City of Pécs and in the region. Interdisciplinary collaboration facilitates the perception of problems in a complex manner; and our common work and innovative stance may contribute to the work and success of city leaders. Young students’ creativity, interest, motivation and knowledge can shape the vision of the city and the region, with the help of inventive and enthusiastic partners. It is important that students working in the group should acquire and practice creative problem-solving. By creativity we mean asking relevant questions, and the ability to search for adequate answers. Students’ self reliance and autonomy will develop parallel to their broadening knowledge on social issues. In our complex projects, we focus on European notions on sustainable development and on the appreciation of multiculturality in the city.
