The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Pécs (UP FEIT) announces an internal grant for faculty members to alleviate the costs associated with publishing scientific papers. The objective of this grant is to motivate scientific activities among faculty members, increase the number of international, high-ranking, foreign language publications, facilitate engagement with international research trends, and expand the faculty's scientific capacity.

Objective of the Grant:
The grant aims to motivate scientific activities among faculty members, increase the number of international, high-ranking, foreign language publications, facilitate engagement with international research trends and expand the faculty's scientific capacity.

Eligible Applicants:
Full-time faculty members/researchers and Professor Emerita/Professor Emeritus with a work assignment contract may apply with an article accepted for publication, meeting the conditions below.
Additional Conditions:
If the publication is linked to an ongoing project, the project leader must declare that there are no available funds for publication costs within the project.
Submission of Applications:
Applications should be submitted electronically to the Vice Dean for Science at the UP FEIT (varady.geza@mik.pte.hu) with the subject “Grant for Supporting Scientific Publications.”
Applications must include:
- Application form,
- Acceptance notification from the journal,
- Brief description of the article,
- Final, accepted version of the article (in PDF format, returned by the journal),
- Name of the target journal, including its impact factor (IF) and quartile (Q) values.
